Summary of our story.

Maquinària Grau (Grau Machinery) is a family company devoted to agricultural and gardening services for more than 100 years.

The company was founded in 1907 with the name Grau Hermanos (Grau Brothers). Back then they used to work with the forge. A few years later the company started to be called Juan Grau, and while continuing working with the forge, they also introduced the manufacturing of marine engines, which became known as Eixut engines. By 1946 the company changed name to Taller Mecánico Bernardino Grau (Bernardino Grau Mechanical Repair Shop), and in 1955 the company was divided in two divisions, taking the name of Viuda de Juan Grau (Widow of Juan Grau). It was at this time when irrigation by sprinkler systems started developing.

In 1975 the shop was opened selling all kinds of equipment for agriculture.

Finally, in 1980, the company changed its name to Maquinària Grau, and, in many places in Majorca, it is also popularly known as Can Eixut.
